Regional Hospital Tower Expansion

A 10-story hospital tower addition in an active, operational hospital campus demanded that VDC coordination minimize any disruption to patient care. Laser scanning of the existing structure was critical and the complex MEP systems for patient rooms zero-tolerance coordination.
We executed a complete Scan-to-BIM workflow using the Leica RTC360, registering over 180 scans to create a precise as-built base model. The federated model integrated structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems. A 4D schedule was developed in Synchro Pro for phased construction that allowed hospital operations to continue uninterrupted.
Delivered verified as-built Revit model, a fully coordinated federated MEP model, and 4D simulation showing phased construction with hospital operational zones clearly marked. Clash detection eliminated over 340 critical MEP conflicts before construction.
