VDC Consulting in Lima, Peru | BIM Execution Plans
EZ-VDC is a Lima-based VDC consulting firm delivering BIM Execution Plans, coordination program setup, and project-level VDC management for construction projects across Peru and Latin America. Founded by a Stanford-trained civil engineer with experience on projects from $30M to $1.5B.
BIM Adoption in the Peruvian Market
Peru's construction sector is at an inflection point. The government has issued BIM mandates for public infrastructure, but many private developers and contractors lack internal VDC capability. We bridge that gap — setting up BIM programs from scratch, training project teams, and managing coordination on behalf of owners and GCs who don't yet have in-house VDC staff.
Lima's Complex Urban Construction Environment
Urban construction in Lima — dense residential towers, hospital expansions, commercial developments in Miraflores, San Isidro, and Surco — demands precise BIM coordination. Tight sites, existing utility networks, and multi-story subterranean parking all require federated models and clash-free coordination before breaking ground.
International Standards in Local Projects
Peruvian projects with international financing or joint-venture GCs often require BIM deliverables aligned with ISO 19650, US National BIM Standards, or owner-specific BEP templates. We write and enforce BIM Execution Plans that satisfy both international requirements and the realities of the local supply chain.
Our Lima-based VDC consulting practice starts with a site visit and stakeholder interview to understand the project's BIM maturity level, team composition, and deliverable requirements. We then develop a custom BIM Execution Plan, set up the project's Common Data Environment (typically Autodesk ACC), onboard trade contractors, and manage coordination through construction completion. Our team is bilingual — we run meetings and produce documentation in Spanish and English.

Yes. Peru's Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Plan BIM Peru initiative have established BIM mandates for public infrastructure. We help public-sector project owners and contractors meet these requirements — from BEP development to federated model delivery aligned with ISO 19650 and Peru's national BIM standards.

Our coordination expertise applies to any project type that uses multi-discipline BIM models.
Can you train our internal team on VDC?
Yes. We offer VDC training and BIM capability development as part of our consulting engagements — covering Revit fundamentals, Navisworks coordination workflows, BIM 360 project setup, and BEP implementation. Training is available in Spanish and can be delivered on-site in Lima or remotely.
