BIM coordination is the process of combining multi-discipline 3D models structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing into a federated environment to detect and resolve geometric conflicts before construction begins. When done correctly, it eliminates the field RFIs, change orders, and rework caused by trade conflicts discovered on site.
BIM (Building Information Modeling) is the technology creating and managing digital representations of a building. VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) is the process framework that uses BIM to drive project decisions: coordination, scheduling, constructability review, and field integration. A team can produce BIM deliverables without doing real VDC. Real VDC means the model is actively driving decisions.
EZ-VDC is based in Lima, Peru. We work entirely remotely using cloud-based platforms Revizto, Autodesk ACC, Navisworks NWD sharing, and video coordination meetings. We have successfully delivered projects for clients in the United States, Canada, and across Latin America without any on-site presence required.

All EZ-VDC engagements are fixed-fee. After a discovery call, we produce a written proposal with a clear scope of work, deliverable list, and a single project price. No hourly billing, no scope creep surprises. If the scope changes materially, we discuss it we do not silently add hours.
The duration depends on project complexity, number of trades, and coordination scope. A typical mid-size commercial project runs 8-16 weeks. A large hospital program may run 6-18 months. We establish a project schedule in the proposal phase so you know the timeline before engagement begins.
EZ-VDC uses Navisworks Manage for clash detection, Revizto for coordination issue management and meeting facilitation, Autodesk ACC/BIM 360 for document management, Synchro Pro and Primavera P6 for 4D scheduling, and Revit with Recap Pro for Scan-to-BIM workflows. We adapt to project-specific platform requirements.
Yes. As part of VDC consulting engagements, EZ-VDC provides role-specific training workshops covering platform configuration, coordination workflows, model quality standards, and BIM Execution Plan implementation. We can also provide standalone training engagements for teams building their VDC capabilities.
Modern laser scanners like the Faro Focus and Leica RTC360 capture point clouds with raw accuracy of ±1-3mm. The Revit model built from the point cloud is typically accurate to within 5-10mm, depending on LOD specification and element type. This compares favorably to manual tape-measure surveys which are typically accurate to ±50-100mm.
LOD specification is project-specific and agreed in the proposal phase. Common deliverables are LOD 200 (renovation feasibility), LOD 300 (design coordination), and LOD 350 (detailed as-built for MEP coordination). We match the LOD to the intended use over-modeling wastes budget, under-modeling creates coordination gaps.
Yes. EZ-VDC plug-ins are published on the Autodesk App Store and are available for Navisworks Manage. EZ Navigation, EZ Clash Manager, and EZ Issue Viewer are each available individually. The EZ VDC Toolkit bundle is available directly from EZ-VDC.
