Outsourced BIM coordination means a general contractor, trade partner, or owner brings in an external VDC team to run all or part of the coordination program instead of hiring, training, and retaining that capability in house. EZ-VDC is built for that model: senior-led, remote-first, bilingual in English and Spanish, and used to working inside a client platform such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Revizto, or Procore. Engagements range from a single defined deliverable, such as a Scan to BIM as-built model or a 4D sequence, to the full coordination cadence from model intake through closeout. Access is controlled, NDA terms are agreed before kickoff, and delivery happens in your environment rather than ours.
Scope and Fit Review
We review the project stage, trades involved, schedule, platform, and required deliverables, then confirm in writing what is in scope, what is not, and what we need from your team to start.
Access, Security, and Onboarding
NDA terms, platform access, folder permissions, and file handling are agreed before any model moves. We work inside your systems so project data stays under your control and audit trail.
Standards Alignment
We adopt your BIM Execution Plan, naming conventions, LOD matrix, and issue workflow. Where those do not exist yet, we draft them so the engagement does not depend on undocumented habits.
Embedded Delivery Cadence
A named senior engineer joins your recurring coordination meetings, owns the issue log, and reports progress on your schedule. You deal with the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying it.
Handover and Knowledge Transfer
At closeout you receive the coordinated models, issue history, drawings, and documented workflows. If you are building an internal VDC team, we train it as part of the exit rather than leaving a dependency behind.
Can BIM coordination really be run remotely?
Yes, and most of it already is. Federated model review, clash detection, issue assignment, and coordination meetings all run through Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and video conferencing regardless of where the coordinator sits. What remote delivery requires is a fixed meeting cadence, a single issue log of record, and clear ownership, which are the same things an in-house program needs.
How do you handle confidential project data?
NDA terms are agreed before kickoff, and we work inside your platform under permissions your team controls rather than copying project data into our own environment. Access is limited to the folders needed for the scope, and it is revoked at closeout.
What time zones do you cover?
We are based in Lima, Peru, which sits in the U.S. Eastern time band for most of the year, so live overlap with U.S. project teams covers a normal working day. Meeting times are set against your schedule, not ours.
Is outsourcing cheaper than hiring an in-house coordinator?
It depends on utilization. A contractor with continuous multi-project coordination demand is usually better served by an in-house team. A contractor with one complex project, an unpredictable pipeline, or a temporary capacity gap generally comes out ahead outsourcing, because there is no recruiting, training, software licensing, or bench cost between projects.
Can you work with our existing Revit and Navisworks models?
Yes. We start with an audit of the models and the current issue log so everyone agrees on the starting point, then continue from there. We do not require rebuilding models that are already fit for coordination.
Do you take on partial scopes?
Yes. Common partial scopes are clash detection and reporting only, Scan to BIM as-built modeling, 4D sequencing for a specific phase, or shop drawing production, with the general contractor keeping coordination meetings in house.
