Civic Cultural Center
This donor-funded civic cultural center features architecturally complex exposed concrete systems and premium finishes. The structural complexity of the design curved walls, cantilevered elements, and exposed concrete requiring formwork precision demanded detailed BIM coordination to ensure field execution matched design intent.
We led concrete modeling and coordination: all cast-in-place concrete elements were modeled in Revit to LOD 350, including embeds, penetrations, and formwork reference geometry. BIM coordination meetings were facilitated weekly, RFI management integrated with the model, and clash detection run between structural and MEP to identify penetration conflicts before pouring.
Complete structural coordination model delivered at LOD 350, all MEP-structural penetrations coordinated pre-pour, shop drawing packages produced for structural specialty elements. Zero rework required on exposed concrete after pour preserving the architectural finish quality.
