Boutique Hotel – Downtown Nashville

A 15-story boutique hotel in downtown Nashville, built immediately adjacent to two active operating hotels. Physical proximity to operational hotels shared utility connections, footings within feet of existing foundations, construction activity visible to hotel guests made VDC coordination and logistics planning critical for managing risk and maintaining neighbor relations.
Laser scanning documented existing hotel basements, utility connections, and foundation conditions. MEP coordination addressed shared utility interconnections. 4D scheduling modeled construction phases to minimize noise, vibration, and access conflicts with adjacent hotel operations. Constructability reviews focused on below-grade and foundation interfaces.
As-built documentation of all shared utility connections, coordinated MEP for hotel program (guest rooms, F&B, back-of-house), 4D phasing plan minimizing construction impact on active hotel operations.
